We have gotten through our first week of year 2018! 2017 flew by so quick, I’m sure this year will too. So now it’s January and we’ve passed Thanksgiving and Christmas..I’m just ready for summer and the beach!
Anyways I wanted to do a short re-cap over my top 10 beauty essentials of 2017 that I know will be coming with me into 2018! So many of these products are super affordable and easy to locate. Always remember each word that is highlighted in pink has a link attatched to it. The link will take you straight to that product (or piece of clothing if it’s an outfit post)!
Take notes and enjoy!

Wet n Wild photo focus foundation ~ y’all, the best! I’ve been wearing it recently and I can’t ask for a better foundation! FIVE dollars! I want you to go to Ulta, Walmart, Walgreens, whatever.. and buy it right now and try it! For five bucks you can try it and see if you like it. I promise you will!! Let me know!
Sephora collection buffing brush ~ so I got this brush kit because I wanted the buffing brush out of it! This kit is normally $48 and actually on sale right now!!!!!!! Most SC brushes are around $20-$40 a piece. I use it to apply my foundation and I don’t think I’ll change anytime soon.
Limelight lippies ~ okay, no I don’t sell it!! But I got these two lippies for Christmas and I love them! The gloss smells like candy and I’ve been applying it over a matte lipstick-so pretty! The liquid stays on forever and is such a good everyday color. The gloss is in shade “grace” and the liquid is “angel food”. These two are actually a holiday kit and it’s 20% off right now! My friend Lacey sells LL so I’ll link her website so you can go straight to it and order from there!
Brush cleaner ~ this is super affordable and WORKS. All you do is spray a little on your brush and rub it in a towel and your brush is clean AND dry-ready to use! So simple and like the best thing ever!

Invisibobble ~ you can get these at Sephora! They come in a pack of 3 for like $9?! My hair gets in my way all the time so I love being able to throw my (straight) hair up in a bun and have no creases when I take it out! I do my hair before my makeup so I throw it up with these and it’s a miracle worker. FYI they will stretch out when you use them but they shrink back to their original size!
Biotin ~ not much to say! I religiously take biotin to keep my hair healthy! It’s hard to notice hair growth but boy do I notice my nails growing!! I can’t stand my nails being very long so I def notice, lol!
It’s a 10 hair care ~ I spray this on wet and dry hair. It smells sooo good.

Mario Badescu ~ I think I’ve talked about this before but I will always use these sprays. They actually came out with a lavender one that I am going to pick up during my next Ulta trip! I’m always spraying my face with this and when I’m using a shimmer shadow I spray my brush so the shimmer will be more pigmented and look brighter on the eye!
Body scrub ~ obvi B&BW has the best! I use scrubs to exfoliate and just because they smell so nice and leave my skin super soft. I haven’t been using them as much lately because my skin is extremely dry because of the cold weather, but once warmer weather hits I’ll be using them frequently!

Mirror ~I actually got this mirror (in black) for Christmas and it’s one of my top fave gifts! I use it every morning and night. I love that it has the little compartment at the bottom too. I stick bobby pins and hair ties in it for easy access!

Okay I know I said top TEN but I had to add in an extra! This is shade Ruby Woo from MAC and is the best shade of red for me (I'm going to link a mini HERE. It is the exact same shade just a mini and only $10! Worth it if you are not sure about it and want to try before you buy). I just counted all of the red lippies I have (for reference lol).. I have 7! That is 7 red lip stick shades that I do not like! I love a good red lip on other girls. It’s so bold and makes the best statement but I had trouble finding the perfect shade for me. They were either too light, too patchy, too dark, or just not a good formula. I have to say I have seriously enjoyed this shade! MAC has great lip products anyways so I wasn’t surprised at the consistency & formula. I’m super glad I finally found a good shade of red for me! If you think you have the same skin tone as me & may be having the same problem with red lippies, try this one!
I couldn’t live without these products and they all have a job in my every day routine. They’re affordable and some are even game changers!
