You will need a square scarf! It works best when it is a really big one. I tried using a rectangle one and making a square then going from there, but it wasn't big enough!

Fold corner to corner making a triangle

Put the 'top' of the triangle behind you, facing down (like you'd put on a jacket).
Then add a belt and viola!

Ok so I love how this outfit turned out! I wasn’t sure about the dress and scarf matching, but once I put it on I really liked it!
One thing I love about a blanket scarf is the endless possibilities. I made mine into a shawl and it went perf with this look. It was kind of confusing figuring out how to wrap it at first! I added a mini tutorial in the pics above for that reason. I am probably going to do a post in the future with different ways to wear a blanket scarf. They’ve been a trend for years and they’re perfect for the upcoming holidays!
I thought this outfit would be cute for a date night or dinner with the girls! I know how women are (well if you’re anything like me) and spend hours deciding what to wear. I actually kept it really simple, but it looks like I put a lot of effort in!
Does anyone have any weekend plans? I got invited to a fashion show and I am over the moon excited. Mom is going with me. I’m def going to do a whole post dedicated to it so I’ll take tons of pictures!
