SIX LIPPIES TO TRY THIS SEASON

I get particularly excited about the holiday months because that means it is time for dark lip tones! There are so many companies that have so many lippies to choose from. It is always so hard for me to pick just one! The perfect formula in a darker lip color is hard to achieve. Many are super patchy and leave a dry feeling, which I hate! So today I am here to help you find the perf dark lip color for you! As I stated there are so many choices out there but these are the formulas that I think are the best! I do own every one of these products so I do know personally how they preform (not trying to brag, just letting you know that I have used these and know how they feel and wear!). We have a lot to cover so let's get into it! BTW -- I am aware that my title says 6 and I have added 7. The NYX palette was something extra I decided to add in last minute and didn't feel like changing my title page, ha. Blogging is a lot more work than you think, ok!! 

1. NYX Lip Cream Palette ~ I would almost consider this a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip palette. Although the ABH palette has more colors to choose from, the formulas are similar. The NYX is a creme palette so the formula is a little more whipped. Both perform great! The NYX comes in 4 different color palettes. The Nudes, The Reds, The Pinks and The Plums. The only reason I say it could be considered a dupe is because the packaging and how they wear. They both have completely different colors in the palettes!  (THIS ONE WAS A LAST MINUTE EXTRA THAT I WANTED TO INCLUDE) 

2. Wet N Wild liquid lipstick ~ for $4 this is an awesome liquid lip!! It dries down matte and is def smudge proof. This color is stunning!  

3. NYX butter gloss ~ this is def not smudge proof, lol. Just FYI! It is very creamy and has a major whip cream feeling. It goes on so smooth and is really pigmented. It goes on darker than you think it would! At Ulta there was not a tester for this one so I didn't get to swatch the color on my hand, so I was surprised when I applied it but I do not hate it! Just darker than I had anticipated. By the way, it's on sale right now for $6 and comes in a set with two other colors. 

4. Too Faced melted liquid lipstick ~ this does not dry down matte. It stays fairly glossy. It is a very deep red. I love the Too Faced melted products! My BFF actually got this one for me for my birthday! I had been eyeing it for a while but kept telling myself I have a serious problem with obsessing over lipsticks! We went shopping that day and she went to checkout with it and I was like wait are you serious you are buying that for yourself?!?! But no, she was buying it for me, lol! She understands my obsession with lip products. No one else understands, but Lindz.. oh she knows! Ha. Of course, this was before I accepted the fact I am a crazy person with too many lipsticks and now (to make myself feel better) I just call it a collection.....

5. Mac Viva Glam lipstick ~ the one I added is Viva Glam 2. It is a pink nude that has shimmer in it. I have said this before, but it is the perfect every day lipstick color. For me it is close to the natural color of my lips but adds a hint lighter and some shimmer. It is one of my all - time favorites. 

6. Anastasia Beverley Hills liquid lipstick ~ I love this formula and I love how it dries down. Not much to say! I feel like I over - talk ABH lipsticks.. lol. 

7. Maybelline lipstick ~ I love this color! I keep this one in my purse because it is a good color to randomly touch up with, no matter what shade you had on before.
